Blocked and cleared
(5 services)For water that will not go away: slow drains, backed-up fixtures, sewage smells and stormwater pooling. These services find the blockage and clear the line.
Blocked Drain Clearing Melbourne
Clearing for kitchen, bathroom, toilet, sewer and stormwater blockages. We find the cause with a camera, clear it with hydro jetting, and show you what caused it.
Drain Cleaning Melbourne
Preventative cleaning with high-pressure hydro jetting to strip grease, scale and sludge off the pipe walls before a blockage starts.
Hydro Jetting Melbourne
High-pressure water jetting for grease, tree roots, sludge and compacted debris. Cleans the whole pipe wall, not just a hole through the blockage.
Tree Root Drain Clearing Melbourne
Roots cut out with hydro jetting and mechanical cutters, then checked on camera. Relining is available where roots keep coming back.
Stormwater Drain Cleaning Melbourne
Clearing pits, pipes and grates blocked with mud, leaves and silt, so stormwater moves away from the house instead of pooling in the yard.
Repair and replacement
(6 services)For pipes that are damaged rather than just blocked. CCTV first, then the least invasive fix that will hold: relining, a spot repair, or excavation and replacement.
Drain Repair Melbourne
Repair for cracked, broken and collapsed drains. CCTV locates the damage, then no-dig relining or targeted excavation fixes it.
Sewer Repair Melbourne
CCTV diagnosis and repair for blocked or damaged sewer lines, including root intrusion, collapsed sections and bellied pipes.
Pipe Relining Melbourne
A resin liner cured inside the damaged pipe, sealing cracks and joints without digging. Used where the pipe still has enough shape to line.
Drain Replacement
Full replacement for collapsed or badly misaligned pipes that cannot be relined, including excavation, new pipe and surface reinstatement.
Drain Excavation Melbourne
Digging out and replacing sections that relining cannot fix, such as collapsed pipe, an incorrect fall or severe root damage. Camera first, then a fixed-price quote.
Boundary Trap Replacement Melbourne
Locating, uncovering and replacing a damaged or buried boundary trap, the fitting where your private sewer meets the public sewer.
Inspection and prevention
(2 services)For when you want to know what is going on before spending money, or to stop the same blockage coming back.
CCTV Drain Inspection Melbourne
A camera survey of your pipes. You watch the footage live and see blockages, cracks, roots and collapsed sections before any work starts.
Plumber Melbourne
Licensed drain and pipe plumbers for the jobs that do not fit one category. Drain and pipe work only, not general plumbing. Start here if you are not sure.
Emergency
(1 service)For sewage inside the house, burst pipes or flooding that cannot wait for business hours.
Choosing the right service
How do I work out which drain service I need?
Start with what the drain is doing. If water is backing up or draining slowly, you need blocked drain clearing. If a pipe is cracked, collapsed or keeps blocking in the same spot, look at the repair and replacement services. If you want the cause confirmed first, book a CCTV drain inspection.
What is the difference between drain clearing and drain cleaning?
Clearing removes the blockage that is there now. Cleaning is preventative: high-pressure hydro jetting scours grease, scale and sludge off the pipe walls so the same blockage is less likely to return. The drain cleaning page explains when it is worth doing.
Do you inspect the drain before quoting?
Blocked drain and sewer jobs start with a camera inspection. It shows the blockage, cracks, roots or collapsed sections, and the quote is based on what the camera finds rather than a guess.
Should a damaged pipe be relined or replaced?
Relining works when the pipe still has enough shape to hold a liner. If it has collapsed, the fall is wrong or the damage runs through multiple joints, excavation and replacement may be the better long-term fix. The pipe relining and drain replacement pages cover both.
When is it an emergency?
Sewage backing up inside the house, a burst pipe, or waste water flooding the yard needs attention now. The emergency plumber page covers the situations that cannot wait.
